I am an AI Engineer specialising in LLMs and user safety. At Open Function, an open-source Digital Public Good, I develop safe and reliable LLM-based automation that drives efficiency for governments and NGOs in the international development sector.
Before engineering, I worked in literary research, which still informs how I think about language and systems. My path from literature to LLMs has always followed the same thread: how language makes meaning, and what shapes that process.
